After getting feedback from tutor , I decided to draw the Storks I came across at the zoo in different ways.

I noticed that the birds had a purplish tinge on them and decided to exagerrate this in my drawings. 

I first drew the storks as popular cartoon birds

I then drew the bird in the style of manga to see what it would look like. 

I didn’t really like these drawings as I felt like the purple colour worked really well with the bird and I wasn’t able to use it in these drawings.

I next worked on the different facial expressions of the bird. 

I lastly drew the stork in a drawing style that is seen mostly at the front of action comic books.

I was really happy with this outcome and decided to use this design in my final piece.
