For my final piece I decided to combine one of the most known video games , Super Mario, with a book called ‘Blood Brothers’ by Ernst Haffner. Blood brothers is a book that “delves into the illicit underworld of Berlin on the eve of Hitler’s rise to power”.
I took common characters from the super Mario games and changed to fit the plot of the book
Final Outcome:
I drew the background in black and white to fit the time period the book came out in.
Overall, I’m really happy with this outcome.
After creating my final outcome, I edited my images into an arcade to see what they would look like.
