I then decided to test out an idea I had. I knew I wanted to explore the use of portals so, I came up with the idea of a door that leads to somewhere else. I recorded 2 clips, one of a door opening and another of a forest; I placed them together and tried editing them together.
I really didn’t like this outcome. It didnt come out as cohesive as I wanted to. I decided to stop focusing on it and try out a different idea.
