Our goal for this workshop was to create 20 a5 images that related to our project
These were the images I created during the workshop. I decided to take objects related to childhood and add a horror theme to them. I like how all of them came out however my favourite ones are the ones with the ‘blood spray’ on them. I did this by mixing fake blood with water and placing it in a spray bottle. I then sprayed it onto the paper.
I decided to include my quick sketches as part of the 20 as they were the same size.
- The Poltergeist includes children being haunted (the iconic tag line “They’re here” was said by one of the children in the movie)
- The entire plot of IT is about a shape shifting entity that uses the fears of children to prey on them
- Part of Jigsaw includes the audience learning about what evil things the characters have done in their past. The woman we are all lead to believe is innocent was revealed to have killed her newborn child and frame her husband for the death. The husband was arrested and ended killing himself because of the guilt.
